Some bills are small.
Until they're due.

People post one real bill, from $5 to $100 (€5 to €100 in France). Someone they'll never meet swipes right to cover it. The money waits until the receipt comes back.

meet one bill

stands between Inès and three job interviews.

Her phone plan runs out on Friday. The recruiters call on Monday. It's not a crisis. It's a week that could go either way.

Inès is an example. Every bill on billz is real and checked.

A phone plan.

A bus pass for a new job.

A full fridge on a Tuesday.

An inhaler refill.

Small enough to cover in one swipe.

Big enough to change a week.

Asking friends is the hard part. Here you ask nobody in particular: post the bill, show your first name or no name at all, and someone covers it.

A little ahead

You'd help if you knew it went somewhere real. Here it does: the money only moves once the receipt shows the bill is paid.

how it works

Three steps.
Nothing hidden.

1

Post the bill

Snap it and say what it unlocks. A person checks every bill before it goes live.

2

Someone swipes right

They pay the bill plus an 8% fee. Stripe holds the money. billz never does.

3

The receipt comes back

Proof it's paid, then the money is released. No receipt in 72 hours? A full refund, fee included.

covered, not exposed

Show the bill.
Keep the details.

Names, addresses, account numbers and barcodes are covered before anyone sees a bill. Filled in, not blurred, so nothing can be read back.

  • A person checks every bill. Fakes never go live.
  • One account per person, confirmed with an ID check by Stripe.
  • Photos are deleted 90 days after a bill closes.
  • Your first name, or fully anonymous. You choose.

after you swipe

Then you find out
what it did.

A few days later, a quiet note: the receipt is checked, the lights stay on. Sometimes a thank-you, in their own words. You never know what it'll say.

Your own count, in bills, never euros. Only you see it: no leaderboard, nothing to post.

small bills,
quietly covered.

It isn't a flex. It's the quiet kind of generous: you see a bill, you cover it, you move on. Somewhere, a phone stays on.
